When the committee met in Tokyo in 2012, we invited the ISO Secretary-General, Rob Steele, to join us.
Unfortunately, he was not able to, but he sent us a video message where we had asked him to comment on the following three topics:
- how to ensure transparency and understanding of the procedures adopted by ISO,
- strategies for marketing our standards outside of ISO, and
- actions to reduce the elaboration and publication time of ISO standards.
