Chair Jøns Sjøgren delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of ISO/TC 59 Buildings and civil engineering works Plenary week in Yantai, China.

A special thank you to SAC and especially SC 19 for hosting this important week. We had successful Subcommittee meetings and a plenary session.

We are thankful for all participants who joined us in Yantai to take full advantage of this valuable opportunity for face-to-face interactions, and we hope our virtual attendees also had a rewarding experience.

We already look forward to the next face-to-face Plenary week 19.-23. October 2026.
