The third TC309 plenary took place in November, with the start of our new project on guidance for the governance of organizations
TC309 had its 3rd plenary during the week of 11th November 2017 in Shenzhen, China, with 60 experts from 18 countries and three of our external liaisons meeting to discuss key developments in the work of the committee:
- ISO 37000 Guidance for the Governance of Organizations - the first working group meeting
- ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems - to discuss the development of a new guidance handbook
- ISO 19600 Compliance Management Systems - to prepare for discussions on the way forward following the imminent systematic review of the standard
- A new proposal for a guidance standard on Whistleblowing, final approval from the committee to be sought in early 2018
This builds on the work at TC309's previous plenary meetings in London (October 2016) and Quebec City (May 2017). The next plenary will be in November 2018.
