The ISO/TC 309 Webinar gathered participants from over 10 countries to exchange insights on ISO 37004, ISO 37302, and ISO 37303, strengthening global collaboration on governance and compliance international standards.
The ISO/TC 309 Webinar on ISO 37004, ISO 37302 and ISO 37303, jointly organized by the Communications & Engagement Advisory Group (AG1) and the Developing Country Contact Group (DCCG), was successfully held on 21 October 2025.
The event attracted participants from more than 10 countries and diverse organizations, including national standards bodies, government agencies, universities, and private-sector representatives. The lively and constructive discussions reflected the growing global commitment to advancing good governance, compliance, and organizational integrity through ISO standards.
Speakers Kev Brear (Chair, ISO/TC 309), Carolynn Chalmers (Secretary, WG6), and Barbara Neiger (Convenor, WG4) provided valuable insights into the development and implementation of three key governance and compliance standards:
ISO 37004 – Governance Maturity Model – Guidelines
ISO 37302 – Guidelines for Implementing a Compliance Management System
ISO 37303 – Guidelines for Competence in Compliance Management
The webinar served as a platform to share best practices, strengthen engagement of developing countries, and foster regional and international cooperation in support of ISO/TC 309’s ongoing standardization work.
