The International Standard ISO 22301, Security and resilience — Business continuity management systems — Requirements was recently under a review by ISOs member bodies.
This review is made periodically to collect the member´s view on if the standard should be confirmed for another time period, or revised, amended, converted to another form of document, or even withdrawn. The result from the ISO 22301 review showed an interest to revise and update the standard from several members.
The way forward for ISO 22301:2019 will be further discussed at an upcoming meeting with ISO/TC 292/WG 2 Continuity and organizational resilience.
