ISO 22354 provides an eight-stage process for building community resilience to emergencies, disasters and crises. It explains how local resilience partnerships can work with the public, businesses and civil society to co-design capabilities that strengthen self-help, mutual support and support for priority groups. It covers developing partnerships and a shared vision, assessing risks, vulnerabilities and community needs, implementing and managing resilience capabilities, and driving continual improvement through evaluation, using a whole-of-society approach.
