Follow our conversation here.

As the administrator for the U.S. Mirror Committee on behalf of ANSI, IFMA has been a strong supporter of FM standards and the work of ISO/TC 267. IFMA regularly holds educational sessions to promote the adoption of standards among its members.

S MitchellStan Mitchell, Chair to ISO/TC 267, has said, "FM practitioners require a rare mix of specialist technical skills, rounded business understanding, and general management expertise. We are now in a position to provide consistency for the profession internationally and to provide a framework for standards on a worldwide scale."
