ISO/TC 262 currently has a live end-user survey to share your views regarding the guidance you would like to see in the portfolio of risk management standards. The survey will remain open until 26 July 2021.
ISO Technical Committee 262 of the International Organization for Standardization has established a Task Group for conducting a user survey. The committee is responsible for standardization in the field of risk management. Its core standard is ISO 31000 Risk management – Guidelines, the latest edition was published in 2018. Its scope is to provide guidelines on managing risk faced by organizations. The application of these guidelines can be customized to any organization and its context.
The user survey has been initiated to determine the needs, issues and challenges of end‑users of standards and related documents for managing risk. End‑users in risk management are risk management practitioners assigned by the leadership of their organization with the authority, responsibility and accountability for managing risk and who are using standards and related documents for managing risk in their daily work or business.
The purpose of the survey is to gather information about the use, strengths and weaknesses of ISO 31000 Risk management – Guidelines, and related documents to determine where more guidance may be helpful. The results will be used to give guidance for the future work of ISO/TC 262.
The survey will take five minutes to complete. Please use this link to complete the survey.
The closing date is the 26th of July 2021.
If you should have any questions with regards to procedures or the content of the survey, please contact the committee manager: firstname.lastname@example.org.
