InTeRSeC 45 – Position tolerances (ISO 1101, ISO 5458, ISO 1660), Grugliasco (TO, Italy)
2023-12-01 Face‑to‑face seminar
A seminar named InTeRSeC 45 will be held on 2023‑12‑01 on the position tolerances. The starting point is ISO 1101 (geometrical tolerances in general, including position ones), followed by pattern tolerances (ISO 5458) and by profile and surface tolerances (ISO 1660). Together with the ISO 2692 (maximum and minimum material) dealt with in the previous InTeRSeC 38, these standards set a comprehensive frame on the subject matter.
A talk will report on the outcomes of a survey on the knowledge of ISO GPS in industry recently run by the University of Padua.
The event is organised by the CMM Club Italia, a non‑for‑profit Italian society aiming at promoting awareness in coordinate measurements, where correct understanding of the ISO GPS is crucial.
The seminar is part of a series named InTeRSeC, at its 45th instance. Some of them are part of a collection named Per‑Corso GPS. Corso means course in Italian, and Percorso means path or route. The Per‑Corso GPS is in between a distributed course (over subsequent seminars) and a journey within the ISO GPS. InTeRSeC 45 is the 9th leg of this journey.
All details are found here (on the CMM Club Italia website).
