Longtime participant in ISO/TC 210 activities, Arjan van Drongelen, has changed jobs and consequently will no longer be engaged in standardization. He has provided a personal goodbye note to ISO/TC 210 members.
Arjan's farewell note to ISO/TC 210 members is shared below.
Dear TC 210 colleagues,
Starting 14th February 2022, I will leave the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and start in a new position as senior inspector for Notified Bodies at the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate. I am looking forward to using my knowledge from 27 years at RIVM in a different way and position.
Unfortunately, this change also means that I can no longer participate in developing standards and will no longer be a member of this TC.
I first came to ISO TC 210 in 2014 with the idea for a document for Post-Market Surveillance, which led to the creating of WG 6 and finally resulted in the publication of ISO TR 20416 in July 2020. During this process, I have seen a lot, learned a lot and, above all, enjoyed working with you and enjoyed your company.
I will work with Peter Linders and the committee manager to make sure that the activities in WG 6 will continue.
Thank you all for having me as a member of ISO TC 210 and keep up the good work.
Warm regards,
Arjan van Drongelen
