Tom is an environmental engineer and environmental economist. Tom leads ClimateCHECK and Collaborase, and co-founded the GHG Management Institute. Previously, Tom was Director of Climate Change Services for DNV North America; and Chief of GHG Measurement and Reporting for the Government of Canada climate change technology fund. He was lead author of ISO 14064-2. Tom is the Chair of ISO TC207/SC7 GHG Management and Related Issues and a member of:
• IEEE Climate Change Technology Sub-Committee (past Chair);
• Organizing Committee of the 2015 Climate Change Technology Conference;
• Ethics Committee of the Environmental Careers Organization of Canada.
He is also Associate Editor of the Journal of GHG Measurement and Management and Advisor for the Carbon Disclosure Standards Board.
