Use of ISO 14031 and ISO/TR 14032 assists GEALAN in environmental performance.
GEALAN produces vinyl window profile systems for windows, doors and roll shutters. The headquarters at GEALAN Fenster-Systeme GmbH, Oberkotzau, Germany, was an early adopter of environmental management systems. GEALAN applied the procedures in ISO 14031 to develop their environmental, management and operational performance indicators.
They provided one of the examples of industrial application in the now withdrawn ISO/TR 14032. Gealan's use of ISO 14031 and ISO/TR 14032 is documented on their website.
