The Unfamiliar Facial Identification Group Meeting (UFIG2027) will be held 28-29 January 2027 at The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, the week before the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 37 meeting. Registration is now open for those interested in attending or presenting.
While UFIG2027 was previously expected to be held in Brisbane, the organizers have decided to hold the meeting in Sydney the week prior to the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 37 meeting on Biometrics, which is scheduled to take place in Sydney from February 1–5, 2027. This is intended to make it more convenient for those interested in attending both meetings.
The two-day event will consist of presentations from a mix of practitioners and academics, in-depth discussions, and a drinks reception on Thursday evening.

Those interested in delivering a presentation at UFIG2027 may indicate this in the registration survey, with titles and abstracts to be confirmed at a later stage. Keynote speakers and the full program will be announced closer to the event.
